Marpac 980A Sound Screen Sound Conditioner

Does the Marpac 980A Sound Screen Sound Conditioner really help you sleep. Our son keeps waking up in the night disturbing us all. Maybe the Marpac 980A Sound Screen Sound Conditioner will help. Does anyone have any experience with it or something similar?

It is amazing how it is able to mask all the background noises. Should be very helpful for a good nights sleep. It is available at a good price right now too.
