Markets Affecting Each Other

Why is it that markets in Asia have an effect on European markets? Why is there a connection between the two?

Globalization. Large American. European and Japanese corporations have opened businesses throughout the world to reduce manufacturing and distribution costs. They employ tens of thousands of workers in the Far East. Natural resources lacking in one country are imported. This means that countries are more dependent on each other and drastic changes in one will affect markets in the rest of the world.

Because money is neutral and is invested within areas of potential and actual growth.

As well, firms specialize in what they are good at in each country and sell in other markets.

One market goes down, the costs can increase for either party, or there is a loss of nominal and real investments.
