Did Marilyn Monroe have breast-augmentation? ...

Did Marilyn Monroe have breast-augmentation surgery?  Have you seen her infamous "nude calendar" picture?  Maroon background, she's laying half-turned to her side, legs drawn up?  The chest dimensions shown in that photograph in no way resemble those in her later career.  I'm convinced, and I think y'all will be, too.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Actually, Elden, "boob jobs" have been around for over 100 years.

It is believed that Marilyn had plastic surgery on her face, and there has been rumors that that she had breast implants.  However, Hollywood photographers and wardrobe people were very good at making actresses look more voluptuous than they really were.  So Marilyn's enhancements may have been mere illusion.

I'll grant you, Earls Brain, that the studios' publicity offices were more than happy to make the most (get it?) of their female stars, but I refer you to a site called 'Ask Jeeves' (UK predecessor to Ask.com) which informs us that, at the time of her death, Marilyn's dress size was a 12, her pants size an 8, and her bust size a 36D.  That would be much more in keeping with our vision of Marilyn than that of her calendar shot which I think (could very well be wrong), was featured in Hefner's initial issue of his new venture, Playboy magazine.
