Thanx for answering my question. Maybe I am wrong but I could say the following.
There is controversy concerning the electric light thing. The pyramids show no evidence of soot inside. No torches were used to make the hyroglyths inside. There are depictions of light bulb like structures within the drawings on the walls.
In our day and age, 2009, there is NO WAY to haul one hundred ton stones hundreds of miles and then carve them to less than millimeter precisions to place them. Stonehinge even had fittings cut into the massive stones like a carpenter would place in carvings of wood today. That cannot be done today. We do not have the technology. They did.
Science denies any such flood when it is convenient. I have heard and read that they know the amount of water and ice on the planet and that no world wide flood was ever possible. When speaking of global warming melting Antarctica and Greenland and all glassiers on earth the story changes to " All land masses could be under 40 feet of water". All signs of the flood are relegated to the belief in an ice age having caused them.
Mankind's nature leans toward the worship of something. All of human kind had turned from God. They had a one language, one Nation planet. (The Tower of Babel put and end to that ability in our time).
Astrology seems to be a focus of the very design of the ancient buildings. Ziggurats were used for the same purpose.
The airports and massive designs, deciphered only from a person in flight, in Nasca, Peru speak of their ability to fly. Eric Von Danikin suggested that gods had visited the people of earth long ago. I say that the people, before the flood, were advanced adequately to do these things themselves. Bolivia and Guatemala
have massive stone structures that could not be constructed today because of their use of such humongous stones. Underwater buildings off of the coast of Okinawa, Japan and the Bahamas point to the same incredible ability to work with hundred ton stones with absolute precision.
I think that Atlantis was a magnificent one nation world and not a specific place. The ancient ruins of our world appear to bear this out. John
