Man loses eye, breaks back and his seven year old son was thrown from the wreck?

Back in March of 2009, there was  a guy that crashed his convertable Mitsubishi on Tipacanoe Avenue in the San Bernardino area.

The person driving the car was named Charles Ciballos.  In the accident, he split the car in two pieces and had his 7 year old son thrown from the car, while he himself broke his back, had facial reconsctruction and his eye ripped out of it's socket.

Can anyone give me more details and why was there no story or report of this accident in the news papers.  The person Charles Ceballos also has no information of a court date due to the accident.

Just need to know more informtion if anyone has any, and if they know if he used a fake identification when the law enforcemnt officials arrived.

I was able to find a number of convictions for this Charles Ignacio Ceballos, for drunk driving and suspended DL.

Any help will be appreciated.
