Starting from what age it is recommended to take a mammography test?

Live life to the fullest. 

The American Cancer Society recommends that a woman obtain her first baseline mammogram between the ages of 35 to 40. After the age of 40, she should receive a yearly mammogram.

Just wanted to add that if you have a family member who has or had cancer you might be at a higher risk and therefor it may be recommended for you to have screening tests done at even a younger age. This is something to be talked about with your doctor.
