Mail status option has disappeared. I used to have it and used it a lot.
The status feature was removed from webmail with the most recent release. It is still available if you are using AOL 9 or AOL Desktop software. You can read more about this and other changes on the

I think it is interesting that you are taking away features. I thought the idea was to improve them.
