Mail sent to non-AOL users intermittently bouncing

Recently, I have sent email messages to several non-AOL email addresses only to have them bounce back with an error such as “451 4.4.1 reply: read error from mail.ideasforeducators.com. <anne@ideasforeducators.com>... Deferred: Connection timed out with mail.ideasforeducators.com.” I have determined that the addresses in question have no problem receiving email from non-AOL users. Can you please help me resolve this, or suggest what steps I might take?”

AOL Mail - Community Support Team

The error "bounce" message is coming from the receiving mail system. For some reason it looks like they've got an error and are blocking some mail from AOL. I will ask out technical staff to reach out to them and try to help them clear the issue. Thanks.
