Mac Software to draw markings on images

I'm looking for a Mac OS X software which I can use to add some simple markers (as simple as a red circle and some text) to pictures. If there is a way to do this with Tiger onboard utilities, it'd be perfect, but a free download is just as good. I'm not gonna buy software for something as simple as that though (Windows can do it for free with MSPAINT.EXE). I'm using Chocoflop, but it's a little overkill and not really suited for the task either.

Try Seashore- it's opensource (based on the gimp) and can do what you want:

It couldn't be worse.

It may be overkill too but GIMP is worth a try. It's powerful and free and a great for someone who doesn't have Photoshop.

GIMP requires X11 and thus doesn't count as Mac OS X software in my book. Seashore is lacking completeness, so I might as well stick with Chocoflop. Thanks anyways :-)

Flysketch is good and easy. It's from Gus Mueller, the same developer as VoodooPad. The downside is that it's shareware - $25.00. http://www.flyingmeat.com/flysketch/
