MacBook Air - fragile or durable?

The MacBook Air is thin and light ... but is it also fragile?  Apple has had problems with durability.  (For example, screens on some iPhones and iPods have cracked.)  Will this laptop break too?

Screen cracking is almost always due to an impact, not to faulty materials. Apple has had it fair share of component and material (especially batteries and plastic) problems, but the Macbook Air is not plastic. As for materials it's more of a Macbook Pro and therefore should be rather resistant. Of course, dropping it probably means breaking it (as with any laptop, btw).But one doesn't buy a Macbook Air for its durability: one buys it for Mac OSX Leopard in 1.36 kg :-)
