First of all, I want to commend you for your faith despite persecution, deportation, belonging to no land, perhaps rejection and isolation from your family and all the other trials you must be facing. I often wonder if American Christians (including myself) would be able to cling to the faith when faced with challenging obstacles. Count it joy that your faith has been/is being tested through fire. God bless you.
As far as immigration...I am sure that no matter what country-the laws are going to be too complex for a layman to decifer. But, I did come across the following website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp
Perhaps it will be of some assistance. You also may see if there is a Canadian Embassy close to you that may have information and counsel regarding your situation. Perhaps they could at least put you in touch with someone who can.
In the meantime-I've said a prayer for you and I hope that you have a safe place to stay and your needs are being met. It must be very unsettling not knowing what will happen.
