A man (or woman) who won't die for something is not fit to live.

-Martin Luther King Jr.

Would MLK Jr. be proud of how far we've come?

What do you think Martin Luther King Jr. would say about our society if he could spend just one day getting a taste of how people live today in America?

Hi,

I think he would be very proud of many things, such as a serious African American candidate for presidency but also disappointed with other areas such as the war in Iraq. In general I think he would feel that the United States as a nation has come a long way but that it still has a long way to go.

Most definitely proud!!! The African American community has come such a long way since his time. I think he would hardly believe the progress.

If the Pen is Mightier than the Sword.... How Lethal is an E-Mail ?

Is the outside world aware that in The United States Navy The Huge Aircraft carriers have Ghettos on board for Blacks, Hispanics etc... and you do not venture into these areas unless you are of the same Race...!! This was brought to light by a crew of Australian and British Naval Personnell invited aboard for a week. Why does the US Military allow this to go on!?

I believe he would look at how fast the USA acts when it comes to disasters such as earthquakes, Hurricanes/Tornados and Destruction. Then He would look at New Orleans, dip his head, wipe the tears from his eyes and say.... "Whats Changed ?"

Then heaven forbid if he reads the obama comments on Yedda...
