Smoking cigarettes is undoubtedly unhealthy. Talk to your doctor about how much if any alcohol you should be having, before you do it.

Be a blessing to others

Hi,

you've been given some help for your medical condition and I wouldn't dare do either from this point onward. I've never done either, but if I were in your shoes, I'd be thankful for the medical help I got and do all I could to live a healthy lifestyle from this point on. You only have one life and I firmly believe the Lord expects you to take care of it as best you can and smoking and drinking are just not worth the risks. I've heard small amounts of red wine is good for the heart, etc., but its a decision you need to make with your doctor; but, I can probably make an educated guess what he or she will tell you. Hope this helps, Mark
