Where does Pavarotti rank among the great tenors?
Among the great three, I think that he was considered as the first.
I would put him at the top because of his beautiful voice and because of his warm and charming personality that probably makes it easier for those working with him. I pray that he can get through this terrible sickness and we will all be ale to hear that imemorable voice.
I think he was considered the tenor with the richest and clearest tone, although real music lovers might argue with that.
Anyway, his passing away is a great loss to Opera IMO

I always thought Placido Domingo was better, but Pavarotti was definitely among the top three.
Randy: "What's up, dawg?"
Simon: "I'm not being rude... but will you shut up?"
Paula: "You're so mean, Simon."
All I can say is that I used to think opera was boring ... but watching and listening to Pavarotti made me think that opera was kind of cool.
