Low Milleage Oil Change

I drive my Honda CR-V less than 5000 miles a year.  How often should I change the oil?

Since Honda is a very reliable car,  changing  oil every 10,000 miles should be fine, but I would recommend 10,000 miles or 1 year whichever comes first.

Will help it run smoother. Smile

Honda recommends changing oil every 10000 miles, they don't mention in the maintenance guide a time range.

If you want your Honda to last even longer than it is expected to, which is approx. 500,000 miles, change it every 3,000 miles and the oil filter as well. It is well worth the investment. Your great grandchild will inherit the car, seriously.
