I don't think I have ever found TRUE LOVE yet. More than one husband and a few loves but NOT TRUE LOVE. Hoping for the Right Man who doesn't think he is God's Gift to All Women.

Is there really such a thing as love?

Is there really such a thing as love?

I have reached a point at this time, that I am afraid to be in a relationship of love with a man.

I recently broke off a long time relationship. I didn't feel the love that he said he had for me, even though he asked me to marry him and move to be with him in England.

First husband beat on me. Second husband of 15 yrs had an affair.

I feel the need for giving and receiving real love but is there really such a thing?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
Yes, sure there is.   It seems to me that you "give" all of yourself in your relations and you expect your partners to do the same..... unfortunately your partners dissapointed you (or didn't fullfil your hopes).  I know it hurts and you think (corectly !) that it is unfair but don't give up your hopes and don't let it change yourself.....  Stay as you are and hope that soon you'll find your true love (he is there and is looking / searching for you, right now !).
Best regards,

Hi, are you someone I know?  A friend from Yahoo? Your answer pretty much is exactly true for me. I had just told my friend something almost exactly what you told me in the answer you gave me. Great answer! I am new to this site and don't even know how it works so please bear with me while I figure it out. Thanks!

Hi,

You had been disappointed by 2 men, so now you have this doubt that you will find a good man for you.  You just have to wait patiently.  God has  someone for you.  I think now you should try to concentrate on your career, have some worthwhile hobbies like dancing, golf, tennis or any hobby you enjoy.  There are men who are also looking that's why they join these activities.

But I saw your age is 107, at this age, does anything else  really matter?  LOL..

I really liked your response. Thank you, so much. I have a  question for you, please. I am real new to Yedda. This was the first "?" that I asked on here and have only answered a few. I am not sure how this site works. I see that Yedda picked your answer as the Best Answer, not me, although, I would have done that anyway. I am used to Yahoo Q&A and we pick our own Best Answers. I also see where the computer on Yedda assigns ratings of some kind after a person gives an answer. I don't understand what any of that means. I hate to  bother you but could you either explain some of this to me, or lead me to a place on Yedda that would explain this stuff? Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer. Hi Chery Ann,

The way one gets 1 or 2 thumbs up in Yedda either come from anybody reading all the responses and thought that it's a very good answer that's why one gets 2 thumbs up.  Some would think that the answer was OK, that's why 1 thumbs up is given.  Then the person who gave the question can also rate the answer to be good(1 thumbs up) and a very good answer (2 thumbs up) . If the anwer is terrible and you don't agree with it, you can give 2 thumbs down, if the answer is not that bad and not really helped you, then you may give 1 thumbs down.  This scoring or merit system is very subjective.  I
