I agree. These are red flags. However, I think you are jumping to an extreme conclusion assuming that he is cheating on you. The most important part of a healthy relationship is open and honest communication, and I do believe that it sounds like your relationship is lacking. You should feel comfortable enough to share your insecurities with your partner. If they truly care for you, then they will do what is necessary to improve communication with you and make you comfortable. Otherwise, you deserve someone who will treat you with more respect. It is not that you are asking much. If he were to simply tell you that he has plans with a friend and is grabbing a bite or a drink, this would be sufficient information. What is important is that you trust one another and it does not seem like you do. I would suggest that you talk with him and share what your needs are. His reaction will help to reveal whether he is the right person for you as well. Good luck!
