You should never let anyone or man, have you to feel that you are nothing. sounds like he is a bad person, you deserve better. it may be hard to let go, but it will get easy if you tell yourself you are better and starting find other things to occupy your time instead of thinking about him. There is plenty good men out there, let that joker go!

Anon, I totally agree with tooclassy. He does not love and care for you. His actions say that he is verbally abusive and inconsiderate of your feelings. This is not the end of the world. Break off your relationship with him, you cannot change anybody. If you choose to stay with him inspite of other people telling you to move on, then don't complain about it. You are the only one who can make your life better and happier. He does not deserve you. If I were you, I'd dump the man.

Hun, dont ever pin your happiness on a man. You need to be happy with yourself. This guy of yours sounds like a total prick and a user. You need to get rid of him. I know it'll be very hard but someone as poisonous as that cant be around you. He's making you sick and thus everything around you seems to turn bad aswell... You cant forsake your studies for this either. You and your career will always be more important than a man. I've been in a few relationships before and what i've leart is THEY NEVER CHANGE. You cant change them and they wont change themselves. Trust me babe, break it off. You'll eventually get over it and you'll end up much happier. :) goodluck sweetie. xx

Put this all behind you, forgive yourself and go on. You see what people can do to each other and don't get in this again. Remember you have rights and if he blackmails you or trys to rape you the police can be called and should be. Tape phone calls and save letters, keep any proof you may have and use it if need be.

Love everybody!Smile

Imagine a friend of yours came to you and told you the first third of what you reported above.  Go back and read it as though it was from your friend and imagine that friend saying I am lost in love with him. I am madly in love. Would you believe your friend? My dear you are in a sick and dependent relationship with this boy or man if I dare call him such a name. He sure does not love you. He is mean, a betrayer, a rapist,; he humiliated you and he is selfish, you can finish the list. Why would you call this love? First, you made some mistakes--forgive yourself. We all make mistakes. Second, go to someone you can trust--a counselor would be ideal if you can find one. Some where you can unburden your heart and deal with the deep feelings of poor self-worth and inferiority. You are not a bad girl; you just made a lot of mistakes and you can straighten out your life. Even your mother may show a lot more understanding than you think she will. Dads finally come  around too. When you get married things will work out; just don't think you should marry that guy you have been hooked up with and suffering such abuse all those years. There is someone who cares. If you are in school ask the counselor where you can turn. Ask if there is a good pastoral counselor around--one trained to help. Ask social services who might offer some counseling and eventually they will help you tell mom and dad. It is usually not  as bad as we imaging it will be.
