Let the sun shine!

Hi, the best way to lose weight and get healthy is so do a combination of exercise and healthy eating.  Try to introduce a new way of eating rather than a diet, otherwise, when you stop the diet, you risk putting back on all the weight.  Try cutting back on the fat content of you diet but not to an extreme.  Do not deprive yourself of anything you like, just cut back.  Eat lots of raw food, summer is a great time for starting this.

If you combine this healthy eating with exercise a few times a week, you will start to notice the difference fairly quickly.  Swimming is the best all around exercise and works on the whole body.  Pilates is also great at strengthening your upper and lower body and is not too strenuous.

I hope this helps!

You want to lose fat and increase energy. Exercise and Diet are the only ways you can get that done. There is no simple way out of this and you have to Accept it. You have to take the time to exercise and watch your food habits. Turn Veggie if you can or at least cut down on Meat. Check out Fat Loss For Idiots for more information

I believe in You. You can improve your life! Start today!

They are right!  Exercise a minimum of 3 times per week and adopt some healthy eating habits.  You can increase your metabolism by eating small meals 5-6 times per day- the right combination of protein, good carb- and minimal fat. Stop the pop, the junk foods, and most anything that is processed and you will lose weight rather quickly!  Keep changing the exercise routines, it keeps your body guessing- which means you burn fat more efficiently. To figure your caloric needs- it would be your weight times 8= ...  for example- a 200 lb person- 200 times 8= 1600 calories. Make sure it is good calories, of course!

Determination is key to long term weight loss. Pick a program that you are going to enjoy and that you will stick at. Start with short term goals and slowly advance.
