I am going to agree with OronD in reference to the communications.  The only way you will know is to bring it out in the open.  This could be a touchy subject, so choose your words carefully.

The two previous responses are excellent but I would like to add a few issues that might help you resolve the problem. How old and what is the state of health of your husband? Is he troubled by problems in the family or at work? He might have fears that at his age he no longer has the same ability to satisfy you. Your post indicates that up tonow he has played the major role but now this may be where you might have to take the initiative and get him turned on so that he could pay more attention to your needs.
