There have been a number of studies but it is hard to determine their reliability. In most cases marijuana use has been associated with lung cancer and psychosis. Follow this link to read more on the issue:

life's short so live it!

In my opinion the only effect it has is that your body gets used to the chemical THC and you sort of feel like you're alone but your there and it's weird, but if you stop for like 2 days it goes away, so in all I would say that it is worth it to smoke weed unless your parents are ennoying :)

Peace and Love

All studies have shown tobacco to be far worse.  Inhaling any smoke is bad for u but if u only smoke pot and no tobacco the risks are low.  And as long as u stay in a positive state of mind when u smoke u won't go psycho.  Just be careful if ur gonna fool around with harder drugs.

There is no proof of psychosis or lung cancer,..as a matter of fact,Marijuana has been shown to help stop cancer cells! Reefer madness is still alive and well,..In the U.K. They claim in will bring mental problems,..If that were the case our mental health facilities would be Overflowing! We need to legalize this much maligned helpful herb,...In california It's legal with a doctor's reccomendation. They are on the right track. The only thing bad about marijuana is it can land you in jail if not careful
