I have a semi-formal, holiday party to go to this weekend for my company. I am larger woman. Most of the women in my office will be wearing short, black, cocktail dresses. Although I usually wear black everyday, I opted to find a longer, conservative red dress as it covers those areas I wish to hide, and I wanted to be festive. All the advice I have seen since on-line says that my chosen dress might make me seem out-of-touch. Most of the women in my office don't seem to like me anyway, and I don't want to give them another reason to snicker. Should I wear the red dress or opt to find something else last minute?
