Hey,
I am going to the Air Force Academy right now, and my girlfriend is going to college abroad. We've been together for over 9 months now and still going strong. Long distance relationships are never easy, but a key factor is trust. As long as you two can share that trust in one another, things are so much better. Granted, there will be ups and downs, but that is the case with any relationship. It is harder because for the most part, the only source of communication is instant messenger, emails and phone calls. Ofcourse there is leave, and every now and then you can see eachother over a three-day weekend. If you're live close to colorado, then you could come over on a normal weekend too! For me, the times I DO get to spend with my girlfriend makes up for the time I spent away from her. Four-dig (or freshman) year is tough, and your boyfriend is going to be stressed beyond belief. But as long as you guys find ways to communicate, things should be fine. In the end, you guys should come to a conclusion on what is best. A long distance is trying, and rewarding at the same time. My relationship has only grown stronger since Ive been away from my girlfriend. Anyways, I hope I've been of some help. Best of luck on figuri
