It's ironic: The Rough Guide books aren't really as rough -- unpolished and down-to-earth -- as Lonely Planet books.  For example, what the Rough Guide calls "Accommodation," Lonely Planet calls "Where to Sleep."  To be fair, Rough Guide books do have good content.  But until Lonely Planet lets me down, I'll stick with it.
