Have you been on the London Eye? Is it worth the cost of admission - or the wait in line for tickets?

For anyone looking to get great panoramic views of London, the Eye is the best option available and if you go on it on a clear day you can see for up to 25 miles.

Yes, it's a great way to get a birds'-eye view of London.  (The tube maps give a very distorted sense of where things are above ground.)  But go early in the day to miss the long lines.

Yes it is well worth the trip. Book online and collect your ticket(s) by presenting your card in the machine in the tickets office.

The online booking//ticket will give you a time for your ride turn up 20 minutes previous to this grab your ticket and jump the main Q. No wasted time.

Westminster is the best Tube station as it is a short walk over the Thames by Parliament. From there buy a street map and walk Whitehall, The Mall Trafalgar Square Buck House for the best expereinces.
