Lindsay Lohan is being sued by Masha Markova for allegedly stealing the girl's $11,000 blond mink coat.
Is it just me or does anyone else think it's a little crazy that a 22-year-old NYU student wore such an expensive coat to a club called 1Oak?
Markova said she was flipping through a February magazine when she saw Lohan sporting the distinctive coat.
The coat was eventually returned by the club, smelling of cigarettes and booze, with a tear in the lining. Markova has since dry-cleaned and patched up the coat. She's suing Lohan and hopes to get an apology as well as have Lohan pay at least $10,000 in a "rental" fee.

I definitely think Markova has a good chance of winning this lawsuit. Lohan was photographed wearing the exact coat, and the fact that the coat showed up on Markova's doorstep two days after she saw the photograph is as good as a confession in my book. But I have to agree that it's unusual for a college student to own an article of clothing worth that much, let alone be wearing it to a club. She clearly must come from a background where money is no object.
