You may verify that the owner of Help Modify Now - Larry Gunter pled guilty (as follows: 06/20/2007 487(a) PC F Grand theft GUILTY 07/30/2008 Pled Guilty 07/30/2008 --And-- 11/01/1993 487.1 PC F Grand Theft GUILTY 04/14/1994 Pled Guilty 04/14/1994) by contacting: the Harbor Justice Center at (714) 449-8100, Newport Beach Facility, 4601 Jamboree Road Newport Beach, CA 92660-2595. It's PUBLIC RECORD so the clerk will be able explain to you how you may confirm this information for yourself. It does not look like the journalists did a very good job with their research. But, I guess that's not much of a surprise.
