I am trying to buy a car from a private person, but I need to get a loan. Where would I get a small loan (less than $5000) for imperfect credit?

Have you ever thought about applying for a loan on prosper.com?

There's a site that I came across at http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2811143-32501

This is a good site for people with less then perfect credit. They advertise unsecure personal loans for people with less then perfect credit.

  • "You're Approved for Guaranteed Unsecured Credit Cards and Personal Loans - Any Credit History."

I would check with them.

Hope this helps.

You can try your bank or a credit union.  Keep in mind that car loans from most institutions are for cars up to a certain age.  Or obtain a line of credit from the same institutions.

I will start by checking my credit report if i were you.

If you don't have good credit or no credit history,I know of an Agency where they might consider your application.
Kingston Loan Incororated It has branches in U.K, Canada and Nigeria.
They also wire loans to approved U.S residents.
Reach them by email:kingstonloaninc@live.com..
good luck

Cheap money is no good if you can't get it.
