Having enough space to enjoy your home is great. You must realize it does not come without a cost factor(s). A home in the country, usually means a well, septic system, decision on wether to have natural gas, electric, or oil heat, or possibly a wood burner. Then there are tax issues for a school, police and fire protection. Having acres means a riding lawn mower or a tractor to cut and maintain the property, which means there is alot more for you to do. It does provide enough room to offer your children a place to return "home" to. I figured if I am going to spend $$$$$$, I want a place in which I can not hear my neighbor in their bathroom. I enjoy my mornings, a cup of coffee and off I go to the front porch, a cool sunny morning, watching all the birds and animals, then in the evenings I retire to my back room to enjoy my sports programs where there is a RR . My daughters have their four horses here, so I either can help out or watch them with their horses. There is a "truck night"at the grounds to the south, and a "speed way" track to the north of our home......plenty of trails and hunting lands. Plenty of room for cook outs and parties.
