Would you consider moving from the city to the country or vice versa because you got offered a better job opportunity?
With the cost of gas it depends on how long the commute is.
I would like to llive in the city because the stores are nearby and public transportation is available. In the country you will need a car to get to the market and to go in town. Also one must be aware of wild animals roaming into your yard.
I did! I went FROM the city to the Country, but would never go BACK to the city now that I have been away from it for over 10 years.
I would never live in a concrete world. People need to learn that money (or your job) is not what you live for.
I would move from the city to the country, but not vise versa. Never let a job decide where you live, thats what you work for....to have your choice where to live.
I'd live in the country and commute to the city for a higher paying job. No one could pay me enough to live in the city.

Yes, I would move if a better job opportunity presented itself. I am now considering moving from the city to the country. I like the idea of a slower paced environment, however I do like the what the city has to offer in terms of job opportunities, entertainment and recreational activities. I'm looking for a happy medium.
I live in the country and being a mom, I like it. Having to drive at least 30 minutes to town in a minivan with kids, I do not like it. It definitely has its good points like leaving your door unlocked, little country stores, lots of room and peace and quiet(unless your neighbor has a monster truck/ lawn mower and a drinking problem, lol)It really is hard with the gas prices the way they are,but I do like the beauty of where I live.I can look out my window and see horses run by a small stream in my neighbors field and my yard is huge, plenty of room for the kiddies to play, you wont find that in the city.
