I would add rest to allow your body recuperate.

I would say that you do not require 7 steps for physical fitness. I think the most important step to physical fitness is proper balanced meal and proper exercise regime which helps you burn out the calories you intake.

Well number one has to be determination, that must come before everything else. I would also suggest becoming part of a social fitness club as others can help to motivate you and you can share each others fitness tips etc.
