Liquid coming from nipples could I be pregnant?

I had a baby girl about 13 months ago. I recently got married and we have been trying for a baby. We are both 23 years old.  I have been having some signs that I may be pregnant like feeling a little nausous, feeling fatigued and tired, Slight cramps once in a while like period cramps.  I took a pregnancy test which came back negitive several times.  Well this morning while squezing a lil on my nipples I noticed I had liqid coming out and was wondering if that was normal for having a 13 month old I never breast fed or if that means I may be pregnant?  i dont have much tenderness to the nipples either.  Anyone with advice please let me know asap.  Thanks.

Hi,

Pregnancy tests tend to be fairly accurate. Either you've used them too early or you're not pregnant. It is normal to continue to have a slight discharge from your nipples even a few years after having had a baby, whether you breastfed or not.

You didn't mention if your period is late. If it is and you are still having the symptoms you've mentioned, I would recommend that you go see a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Good luck!

I have a 42 day cycle and not expected to have a period til the 20th.  But ovulation tests said I was ovulating jan. 23rd.  So could I be having these type of signs at only about 2 weeks pregnant?  And how long will it take til a pregnancy test may come out positive if you have a irregular period?  Thanx.

A pregnancy test taken 15-16 days after a positive ovulation test should give you an accurate answer. If you ovulated on January 23rd and you are pregnant, it would still be a little early for a home pregnancy test to pick it up.

Good luck!
Rachel
