Is it true that liposuction is a substitute for proper diet and exercise?

Absolutely not!

Lipo can never be used as a substitute diet, especially not in obese people. The procedure removes only small amounts of fat it "problem areas" which are very difficult to target in the gym, and which usually accumulate over time or after giving births (for women of course). You can take out large quantity of fat because it could be lethal.

There's no substitute to good dieting and regular exercise.

Live life to the fullest.

No. Liposuction is only done in very specific areas, and can't be applied to full body weight loss.

Hi,

I agree with the answers given above but I wanted to add an important fact.

When a person is overweight there are many health problems that come with his/her obesity. Diabetes, heart trouble and high cholesterol are just a few of the problems that often accompany overweight. The liposuction doesn't solve these problems and that's another reason why exercise and a proper diet are essential for people wanting to live a long life.
