Life insurance for a young adult with a pre existing health condition

My granddaughter is a young adult with a chronic disease.  I have been unable to find an insurance company that will give her life insurance because of her pre existing condition.  Is life insurance at a reasonable cost out of the question for her?  She is not employed.

Have you tried some of the free on line quoting services.  Because many of them provide quotes for so many life insurance companies there's a good chance that you will be able to find a company or an agent that will be able to quote her.
