A Liberal Arts College is a place of learning where there is no examination at the end; students join simply to enlarge their horizons, and there are no hoops to jump through. For example, Biblical Archaeology, or History of the Tudors etc. It is learning for the sake of learning - perhaps the only altruistic provision, and sadly the Cinderella in education.
