Lewis Hamilton's debut Formula 1 race

Lewis Hamilton debut Formula 1 race this morning was very impressive -- fourth on the grid, third in the race. Did any driver have a better start to his formula 1 career?

Yes, of course - Jacques Villeneuve took the pole and almost won in Melbourne in 1996 (finished second); and there was a driver in the 1960, I think his name was Baghetti, who won his first GP.
