You should bring evidence of your education (diplomas and certificates), evidence that you are in treatment for alcoholism and documents from your therapists about how you are doing, evidence that you are involved in your community and helpful, evidence that you are remorseful about your alcoholism and drunk driving and doing something to better yourself and deal with your addiction. You should bring evidence about your work history, your responsibilities to your family, etc. Essentially you need to show them you are not just a bum who drinks and drives, but that you recognize you have a severe problem (3 arrests!), are doing something about it, are a caring concerned person, who seeks to better himself and care for his family and community. The first step is to recognize you are a drunk, you need help, you are harming yourself and your family, and then you will be able to get help and deal with the problem.
