Leaving The Nest

Well im graduating from high school and im at the point in my life..asking what i should do next. iv thought of alot of possible careers i would want to pursue and right now its psychology. i think im sticking with that. i really think its best i go to college, but im afraid. reason being is i have never been on my own. im 18 years old. im not use to having to fend for myself. my parents have always been here for me every step of the way. im afraid that once im cut loose from them i wont survive. i know im too old for this..but what should i do?

The only way to know if you can fly, is to jump from the nest! Go for it and don't show any fear. Going to college is the best way to go. Psycology is good profession to pursue if you feel strongly about helping poeple with problems the might find to diffcult to deal with on their own. Good luck. And remember that no matter what you decide to do your parents sound like good poeple and will always be there for you.
