Learning the guitar

I am older and don't know if I want to go through all the hassle of learning the guitar but I want to try, always did. Are there some hope for me?

Having little to no knowledge about guitars, I did some basic research on guitar packages before deciding to purchase this set.http://budurl.com/n47a I'm older and wasn't sure if I really wanted to go through the work to learn the guitar, but I did want to try, so I was looking for a nice "all in one" package to get me started without spending lots of money. Guitar For Dummies Acoustic Guitar Starter Pack with Book and Gig Bag

Uhm ... could you define older? :-)

Sure you are older then some pople and older than you were yesterday, but so what? You are only too old to take up anything when you yourself begin to believe it. When we set your mind to it, we can achieve almost anything.

Learning guitar is not rocket science you know. There's a learning curve for sure - just like anything else wort keeping.

Get yourself a decent guitar (properly set up), have some instruction (on-line or off-line) and get cracking! Half an hour of proper training every day will works miracles :-)

Best of luck to you from another "oldie"!
