hi there., first of all., i just want to congratulate you for doing photography. its really fun. In photography., there are no rules at all. You are your own boss. But., before that., you must know the basics and the technical functions of your camera., you need to learn the shutterspeedm the aperture, the ISO and the white balance. When you already know how to work them, creativity comes in. Use the rule of thirds. it always work for me when shooting landscapes, factories, things like wood, lamposts, gate valves , animals. You might want to look that up in google for some shots regarding rule of thirds. Good luck shooting.
