3star, even without knowing more I encourage you VERY strongly to get it fixed ASAP. A small leak will likely become a large leak and water is the single biggest enemy to a home. It can cause more damage than a lot of other things. Fix it right away and correctly. It's very important to take care of water leaks. Not paying a plumber is not a good idea, a big or small constant leak will cost you a lot more in the future, like warping the floor or damaging the frame of the house. If you have water leaking you will have mold unless you take care of it and dry it out fast. Not trying to scare you, trying to make you panic and realize how bad it could get. Not something to wait on.
