Late on my period, six days late. HELP!

Late on my period, six days late. Had blood work done because i was sick around may 1st, nothing showed up then. I've taken pregnancy tests and they have all come up negative. I've been feeling very tired and worn out easily. Ab area hurts, there has been some cramping. I've been slightly moody as pointed out by my husband. I had some pinkish brown discharge for four days then it stopped... I dont know what is going on please help me!

Well you should go to your gynecologist again. I'm not all wise all knowing or anything, but it sounds like you're having a hormonal imbalance. I dont know how to get them rebalanced or anything, lol! Maybe go back to the doctor and see what he says. I hope that helps.

That doesnt exactly explain the missed period. I mean the mood yes. I havent been stressed at all. And nothing about my daily activities has changed.

My last period was april 17th. I should have started by now! I have 28 days between periods. The first few days of my period i was discharging Pinkish brown snotty looking stuff. Sounds gross i know. None of this has ever happened before.  I'm never late on my period... And i've never had the discharge. When blood was drawn nothing came up, and they ran all sorts of tests, even made me pee in a cup. Nothing came up. And that was may 2nd.

I'm going to get a blood test done tuesday hopefully they can tell me something. My mother said that it sounds like it could be one of two things, either that a. i'm pregnant or b. I dont have enough iron in my blood.

 

Anyone have any IDEA what may be going on :( I'm scared it might be something serious (which is why i'm going to get it checked out) but i think it would be great if someone may have gone through the same thing that i am and might be able to tell me what they found out?

oh and i'm only 20! I dont know if age has anything to do with what might be going on...

Yeah. It could be that. Age doesnt have anything to do with it, I'm sure of that. I'm 23 and every now and then my cycle goes nuts. But I have a question for you. Have you been on Birth Control pills and went off them? Just curious if that might be part of it.

Sounds to me you might be pregnant. Sometimes if you are pregnant, the pregnancy tests will not work until you are a little further along. If the discharge you are having is a brownish color and is lite, unlike your period, this happens when you are early in your pregnancy. This happened to me when I found out I was pregnant and the pregnancy test did not show up positive for a week or two. I could be wrong but sounds to me like you might be growing a little baby. Hope this helps.

No, i dont think age has anything to do with it. But maybe you are pregnant and its too early to see yet. So you might have to wait a lil before you can check it. But this happend to me few times and also never happend to me before. i had brownish stuff to for like two days and absolutely went away and i've been tired, moody, going to the bathroom alot, drinking alot, and abdomial main. But everytime i took a test, it always came up negative. It havent happend to me seens but i thought i was pregnant at the time too. But you never know, everybody has diffrent bodys, which is why you should check it again to make sure you arent or you are. Anyways good luck.

Thank you. I'll make sure to post the results of the blood test when i get them back. I'm going to get one taken today. I am hoping that it comes back postive :)

Well blood work came back negative... Which means i'll be going to the gyno to see whats going on with me!

i've been told by a few people it could be low iron in my blood, or a hormone imbalance... so i'll make sure to bring that up when i go.
