Do laser pointers make good cat toys? Many people say they do, and I've even read somewhere about a vet who said so, but when I tried it with my cat it looked like the poor guy kind of freaked out. He was totally hyper and I think it was also very frustrating for him not to be able to actually catch the red dot.
What do you say?
P.S. Is it dangerous for their eyes?
First of all, it is dangerous for cat’s eyes if you apply direct contact, but usually it can’t really happen because the cat will no face you while he plays. I find it to be a great toy for cats and a great way to make a cat that leaves in n apartment to play and run. The only downfall I have found is that the cat can not play by himself, you must play with him.

It's okay to use it as a toy, but make sure you don't point it directly into your cat's eyes. It could damage your pet's vision.
