In general the total safe healing time from Eye surgery is  3 months, and it may take up to six months until your vision will stabilize.

Contact sports such as boxing, football, karate, etc. should not be attempted for at least four weeks after surgery. No swimming for a month and diving after 3 months.

It's your eyes and you only have two of them take care of them , do a lot of research before choosing the operation . You should know there are differences between the healing process for instant Lasek is longer and less pleasant then Lasik.

Good Luck.

LASIK and PRK have very little impact on your lifestyle. Activity restrictions are generally short-term. Immediately following laser eye surgery, there are a number of things you should refrain from doing. Do not vigorously rub your eyes. Wear good quality sunglasses. Do not drink alcohol for at least 24 to 48 hours. No eyeliner or mascara may be used for one week following the procedure. Swimming, pools, hot tubs, racquet sports and tanning booths should be avoided for one month. Wear protective eyewear for yard work.

LASIK has become the procedure of choice for most patients because they recover quickly and have fewer side effects and complications than with other methods of vision correction. In fact, most LASIK patients notice a significant improvement in their vision soon after surgery. LASIK removes tissue within the cornea to treat low to high levels of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.

Having the reflection or glare effect is one of the most common complications. There are patients who have complained of seeing a glare like effect that is similar to how light will glare across a TV screen making it harder to see. Excessive irritation and in a worse case scenario, blindness are other complications.

The danger of it is not so much in the surgery itself as it is in the prognosis. Not everyone is a good candidate for the surgery however there are doctors performing this procedure to anyone who can afford it. Usually those who suffer complication are those who are poor candidates for the procedure.

I want to share this article that I read about Lasik.Since Im also planning to undergo in the near future. Hope this one will to give more knowledge about Lasik. Most patients are extremely pleased with their LASIK results. LASIK eye surgery benefits include improved visual activity, freedom from corrective eyewear, and possibly new career opportunities. Patients who achieve a successful LASIK outcome can eliminate their need for glasses or contact lenses, and enjoy the freedom of clear vision at all times. Patients can play sports, swim, spend a day at the beach, and participate in various activities without the restrictions that glasses and contacts bring. LASIK eye surgery is a safe and effective treatment that has continued to gain popularity among patients.

As with any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with LASIK, but in the hands of a highly skilled and experienced surgeon, LASIK is a particularly safe and reliable procedure. Nevertheless, you should talk with your surgeon about any risks associated with the procedure, as well as all the benefits. Keep in mind that at Lasik-1 your care will be entrusted to an industry leading surgeon who uses some of the most advanced LASIK technology available today. You can check my2020 for more information about Lasik. Godbless
