Call or e-mail the embassy of zimbabwe in D.C. here: http://www.zimbabwe-embassy.us/contact.html

They told me that there is a community of immigrants in D.C. and there could very well be individuals who teach private lessons. Of course I don't know where you live but you could buy a dictionary, even order it from Zimbabwe if you have to and correspond through e-mail with a local DC teacher (immigrant)

Or move to Zimbabwe for 6 months. It's nice and warm there anyway :-)

Hi Gilbert ^.^

In addition to the nice answers you´ve received I would suggest you should try the community I take part. It is fluentfuture.com

http://www.fluentfuture.com

You will meet Shona native speakers there. It is a free social networking site for learning languages.
