what is the best and cheapest LCD screen (19'') for computers?
Do it yourself - it's fun
The 19" wide screen LCDs are cheaper then full 19" LCDs.
they actually cheaper because they are smaller in size then a full 19". nevertheless because they are wide they are great for working with excel spreadsheet or graphics software like photoshop
I got one from MAG for around $220, but it flickers so I am sending it back. if the problem persists I am considering Acer or Philips
The best, but not the cheapest, is this one right here. It's specifications are not that great, but if you see this monitor in person compared to all of the others, you will fall instantly in love. This is the monitor that I use!

The easy answer is : there isn't one. Now, I should explain: For each usage profile you would find that the cheapest screen is different. If you need a high reolution, high performance, color accurate, high refresh rate (for accurate graphic work, for example) then you would pay a lot more then if you only need the screen for writing documents on word. You should choos a screen that fits your usage profile and needs, read reviews and then decide.
Just remember: the cheapest is not always the cheapest. Sometimes cheap means bad service or bad quality. Maybe you will find that your needs will change in the future and you will need to buy a new screen.
