What is the clearest picture for a LCD or plasma right now?
What is the clearest picture that you can possible get right now for a LCD or Plasma tv right now? I will be hooking up my xbox, dvd player, and my computer up to a tv. Basically need to know what the best possible picture out right now regarding color, skin tones ect... I have seen alot saying panasonic I was looking at the new 50 inc but I am open minded. I do see alot of no name brands that have the best resolution but a little hesitant about getting one of those because don't want the color or picture to be yucky.

It depends on the screen size. LCD is perfect up until 32". The quality gets poorer with wider screens. Keep in mind that plasma screens often get "burnt" after 5-6 years of normal usage. LCD screens don't have this hard-coded limitation..It's a feature on which TV makers rarely communicate.

I've seen Plasma screens "burn" after only a year and a half. it was always tuned to the same station, and it's logo was burned on the side.
