Kitchen cabinet color

I have a small kitchen with two windows. I want dark espresso colored cabinets to match my kitchen chairs. Is that a mistake? If not, should I keep the walls white or go with something else?

That's of course hard to tell without having seen the kitchen. Since you have a small kitchen, I would recommend using as little dark colors as possible (dark colors make a small space look even smaller). You could always try to color some big piece of paper in the color you want and tape it over your cabinets, just to see if the color matches your interior.

if you have white cabinet stay away from beige stay within the cool colours ,opt for a light grey counter top since you are putting blue tiles on the back splash ,go for a white and gray floor finish instead. unless this kitchen is closed you should go this way, but if it's an open concept it will clash with the warm tones then you must reconsider the kitchen cabinets and go with a beige instead, in that case you will need warm color , like red, browns , beige. Get some paint chips and put them together side by side and you will see the difference or if you like a fabric pick the colors out of that . Paint Color Trends
