My wife and I have one of each and honestly, you cannot go wrong with either. The larger display is great though. To me, yes. The 9.7 was worth every penny. If I could only get my wife from heisting it at night. : )  If you are interested, I purchased ours from here.. You will not find them cheaper. http://budurl.com/amzk97  http://budurl.com/amz6k. Word of advice. Get the leather case with it.. Have a blessed day...

maybe a wireless presenter with laser pointer is a good choice. It also includes an alt tab application switch. The long range 2.4GHz wireless technology has up to a 30 ft. range.

you can also use this remote wireless presenter at:

In my opinion as far as then cost difference, definately not. I was so hyped on getting mine and needless to say I wish I had not. The big screen is nice but as far as performance goes, notta. Besides, who in the world would ever use up the disk space for books,blogs,subscriptions...etc..Wait for the next upgrade/ Ant

Both the DX and Kindle 2 are good values. But i personally  like DX more that's because of a couple of features that were important to me. First, the screen is larger, and that is helpful to me.The size of the screen allows my eyes to have a more natural pan of the text that allows more information to be processed before jumping to the next line. Second, I like the pdf capability and use it. DX takes Kindle reading to the next level. The amount of content that fits onto the screen is a vast improvement to the experience.  I think the DX could be the solution to college student spending hundreds of dollars per semester on text books. My choice is Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device 9.7".
