Kids staying overnight at the hospital with mom, dad and new baby.

Has anyone had their husband and another young child stay at the hospital with them after having a baby?

Sometimes we put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.

In my area, I know husbands can stay, if you're in a birthing suite, but I'm not sure about children.  Effective this morning, the hospitals in this area have banned children under 12 from even coming to visit because of the H1N1 flu. I would definitely check with whatever hospital you will use.
